We Support the Recovery of Wounded, Injured and Sick Veterans Through Climbing 〰️

Welcome to Climb 2 Recovery!

Climb 2 Recovery supports seriously and chronically wounded, injured, sick, disabled and disadvantaged service people and veterans through a year-round programme of fully-funded residential adaptive and progressive climbing and mountaineering.

Uniquely, Climb 2 Recovery encourages long-term engagement with our beneficiaries, providing far more than one-off experiences, instead our members can attend multiple, carefully structured and progresive courses throughout the year and well into the future.

We support our members towards a variety of medium- and longer-term courses and goals, including single and multi-pitch lead climbing, sport climbing, Alpine climbing and winter mountaineering. We also sponsor many through a hierarchy of outdoor and Mountain Training qualifications: the Rock Climbing Instructor, Mountain Leader and Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor, as well as mountain first aid certification, self-rescue and industrial rope access IRATA training.

Climb 2 Recovery has been delivering activity since 2016, became a registered charity in 2019, and an Affiliated Club of the British Mountaineering Council and a Skills Course Provider for Mountain Training UK in 2023. Our programme is well established, has a track record of delivery success and safety and organisational / charitable transparency and accountability.

Annually, Climb 2 Recovery delivers 1300-training days (per person per day), supporting over 140 members from the Royal Navy / Royal Marines, Army and Royal Air Force, and has the capacity to grow by 40 members per year.
